- US Cellular’s battery swap program puts a new charge in your handset, for free – Launching tomorrow, the initiative enables customers to come into any US Cellular store and "change out a dead or dying battery for a fully-charged one, for free."
- Gadgets like iPod, laptop feed global warming – "In a report Wednesday, the International Energy Agency estimates that new electronic gadgets will triple their energy consumption by 2030 to 1,700 terawatt hours, the equivalent of today's home electricity consumption of the United States and Japan combined."
