- Facebook Targeted in Spam Scam – According to MarkMonitor, social networking powerhouses like Facebook are often prime targets for malware attacks due to the brand’s strong appeal, which can be used to trick users into being infected and offers the ability to use the communication platform as a distribution channel.
- Why give up privacy? Because everyone else is! – "Researchers worried about what they called a "frog effect” on the public. Like a frog that doesn't notice it's in danger when sitting in water that slowly comes to a boil, consumers are not noticing that personal privacy standards are slowly eroding."
