- Palm Eos Could Be Announced this Week – "The second WebOS-powered smartphone, the Palm Eos, could be unveiled any day now, if a new report is correct. This model is expected to be less expensive than the current Palm Pre.
The Washington Post is saying it was told by an unnamed "source close to the company" that this device — code-named the Pixie — will be unveiled during New York's Fashion Week."
- ‘Monopoly City Streets’ Online Game: Will Buying Park Place Be Any Easier? – "Get ready to get your Monopoly on, global style: Hasbro is preparing to unveil a live version of its Monopoly game with Google Maps serving as the game board. The game, entitled Monopoly City Streets, is set to launch this Wednesday — yep, the same day as that other 09/09/09 event."
- D’oh! Sprint pulls $99 Palm Pre promo after error – "Earlier on Tuesday, Sprint published an enticing deal to customers of competing carriers by offering a $100 service credit to anyone who bought a Palm Pre and ported his or her old number to Sprint. Sounds like a great deal, right? Well, it would have been had it lasted."
- New Asus Color E-Reader Folds Like a Book | Gadget Lab | Wired.com – "Computer maker Asus, known for its line of Eee PC netbooks, is working on an e-book reader that will have two touchscreens and when laid open will resemble a hardcover book."
- What to Expect at Wednesday’s Apple Event – "We're less than 24 hours away from Apple's "Rock and roll" event, an invitation-only press session in San Francisco Wednesday that's expected to focus solely on Apple's music-related products."
