- Modern Warfare 2: Most pirated game of 2009 – "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has set several records this year, including the most units sold in a single month (over 6 million in November alone). But according to TorrentFreak, a site that covers the world of torrent downloads, the game was also the most pirated title of 2009."
- Appsaurus Looks To Outsmart Apple’s App Store Genius – "A few months ago, Apple finally released a Genius feature for the App Store, something it had needed badly ever since the number of applications available spiraled into the tens of thousands (it's now at around 120,000). The new Genius feature recommends applications that Apple thinks you'll like based on your past choices, but it isn't perfect. And Appsaurus, a new iPhone app launching today in the App Store for 99 cents, thinks that it can outsmart Apple's built-in Genius."
- Ford will let you ‘tag’ your favorite tunes to buy later – "Soon, if you like a song that you hear on your HD Radio in a Ford, you'll be able to "tag" it so that you'll know the artist and title in case you want to buy it later on."
- Xbox Live Headed to Windows Mobile Devices? – "Microsoft may be bringing Xbox LIVE to Windows Mobile devices perhaps as early as the launch of Windows Mobile 7 expected late 2010, according to recent job postings on Microsoft's site. The software giant is looking for a program manager and software tester to join the LIVE team, and both positions would be focused on integrating Xbox LIVE with Windows Mobile. The positions were first uncovered by Mobile Techworld."
- Packaging Slip-Up Hints At New 8GB iPhone 3GS – "This label could point to a new 8GB iPhone 3GS, a replacement for the current $200 iPhone 3G. The picture was snapped by a German T-Mobile customer, David, and posted to the Apfeltalk forums.
David was supposed to receive a refurbished 8BG iPhone 3G, the cheapest model in the iPhone lineup. He got the handset he was expecting, but the packaging (pictured below), including this sticker, claimed otherwise."
