- Lots of young adults still sexting shock – "Another survey of US teenagers has shown an unprecedented proportion are sending nudie pictures of themselves to each other.
The latest figures come from a poll organised by the Associated Press and MTV, which questioned around 1200 youths and semi-youths aged from 14 to 24. What they discovered, among other things, is that boys think naked pictures are "hot" while girls consider them "slutty"."
- iPhone orchestra ready for debut – "A group of US students has created an entire orchestra out of separate iPhone applications.
As part of their studies, the group from the University of Michigan built the applications themselves and composed music for them."
- Report: FTC reviews Intel-Nvidia dispute – The Federal Trade Commission is reportedly reviewing Intel Corp.'s lawsuit against Nvidia Corp. as part of its antitrust probe of the chipmaking giant.
- Up Pompeii, courtesy of Google Streetview – "Google has added the city of Pompeii to Google Streetview, meaning you don't have to wander the crowded streets on a boiling day anymore."
- Google Launches Dictionary and Translated Web Search – "Amid all the hubbub over Google DNS on Thursday, the search giant also released two more helpful tools to help you get a richer search experience and improve your language skills. Google launched its dictionary project, offering a feature-rich resource that goes beyond simple definitions of words; and its new translated Web search makes it easier to find Web pages written in more than 40 languages."
